Why not have a double drunkard points weekend? Would be great to see every player in gw stand around doing nothing but "IT SPINNING!!" plus its by far the worst title to try to max....DOUBLE DRUNK POINT WEEKEND FTW!!!

ftl. It's not a hard title to max, just need some cash, knowledge on how to do the mapping thing, or just playing alot. It's one of the easiest titles to max, just takes a little while. No need to make it cheaper and less time investing needed. It's simple enough as is.

That wouldn't make it really fair for other people who have maxed it already. On the other hand it is such a boring title to max when you have to just spam double click.. I think my right indexer has fallen off already and I still need around 4k lol.

Worst to max for who? For those that want to get GWAMM in 2 weeks by paying other to play the game for them?

Really is not that hard. You can drink booze while chatting in GH or in an outpost with some friends. You can drink while spamming in spamadon. You can drink while playing.

I'm at 9500 minutes right now and the hardest part was getting the booze.

It is definitely not the worst title to max, however it would be useful to many people.

Being unfair to those who maxed it, in this case, simply isn't a good enough reason not to implement it. If it were to be implemented I would look on it as an improvement.

Those who have maxed the title should not worry about what others are doing, they have done all the hard work and have claimed their "reward".

I hate all this signed/not signed rubbish, but I would like it without feeling jealous or envious of those who would soon have an easier time than I did.

It is selfish to say that other cannot have anything that you cannot benefit from yourself.

It's not hard to max - at all. It's a bit time consuming, but there are ways to cut down on that: Drinking a little here and there while forming groups, selling stuff, buying more booze *hic*, and while out doing missions or vanquishing adds up pretty fast. (Turn down your graphics setting to disable the drunk effects, easy-peasy!)

We do not need reasons to make the game easier, faster, shorter, etc. The title is not hard to work on. As mentioned, you can work on it while doing ANYTHING else, and some of those things provide benefits for being drunk (PvE skills). The ONLY thing it takes is time. All the booze you need to max the title is available for free through quest rewards (Imperial Commendations, Kournan Coins, etc.), weekend drops (Grog, Shamrock Ale, etc.), or collectors (Gift of the Huntsman, Gift of the Traveler, etc.).

You had years full of different events with alcohol drops and a full year of Nicholas providing loads aswell. And they're not ending, it's likely there will be even more sources added.

Seriously, it's not a hard title at all and it's already the cheapest of the 3 consumable titles by a large margin. Cutting that in half sounds absurd.

Oh, have I mentioned that YOU DON'T NEED the title for anything in game? It's fully optional even if you call it grind.

I don't have this title myself yet (slowly progressing), but I'm always against lame ideas that only make some part of the game unnecessarily easier, trying to "fix" what's not broken and instead ruining much more.

The only good way it could be made easier without ruining it or anything else is adding an icon showing the drunk effect with a duration bar. But even that's not needed. A worthy drunkard should learn the tastes and effects of all alcohols he drinks so he can know his drunk level from just the way the screen swirls. I can do that, it's easier than you think.

Bad bad horribad idea, would only badly hurt the rewads of many events and value of Nick's gifts.

Signed, the reason it would not be fair for players who allready maxed this title is not a very good one. The game has changed before for maxing titles so why not this one. The EOTN titles are the easiest to get yet there is a special weekend for it. Why not double party and double drunk.

While I do wish that the drunkard track was easier to get, I don't think that a weekend that doubles the points would be a good thing at this point. I understand having weekends that double points that are purely grind, but for the consumable titles, that means a lot of money to a lot of players that have already done it.

Didn't they just add ways to gather the points? If they added other ways to get drunkard, that wouldn't bother me, but I don't even know what they would add for that to make any sense.

Also, it doesn't cost you gold to earn those titles, just time. In fact, speed clearing will gain you gold while you work on it. That's different from making all alcohol worth double points temporarily.

is it that unheard-of to make a weekend event for doubling things....
this weekend we are doubling lightbringer and sunspear points.... how many of u grinded to get those titles without these events.... same with savior title
also they had an event when Ghalie left that doubled your party points, y not make a day to double drunkard points,..... o lets say October Fest!..... and well today just happens to be National chocolate covered raisens day so oddly enough this could work as your double sweets day.....

point is they have done it with other titles.... y not this one... either way I will get this one maxed just would be nice if it went a little faster.... i mean i have vanquished NF, and Factions, and still only have 5000 minutes.... i dont think it will take 5000 more to finish up Tyria....
